2016 Radon Poster Contest Open to Youth ages 9-14

Radon is a radioactive, colorless, odorless and tasteless gas that comes from the decay of uranium. It accumulates in homes and can cause lung cancer. This lung cancer risk can be reduced if the home with a radon problem is fixed. The only way to know if a home has a radon problem is to test.
Each year, the Nevada Radon Education Program (NREP) hosts a statewide Radon Poster Contest to help raise awareness during January’s National Radon Action Month.
The Nevada Radon Poster Contest is open to children aged 9-14 and offers cash prizes of $75 for the first place winner, $60 for second and $45 for third.

Online Textbook Access

The publisher of the Science textbook has changed the access for the summer and I haven't figured out how to upload the required data to create individual access.

So, I have found another way to provide access.  Remember, the online text has no private data on any students and should be used as a resource.  Do not change any of the settings or passwords.  Thanks.

Science Text Reminders

If you would like to receive text reminders about homework, tests, team events, and other things specific to science class, you can sign up.

For 8th grade, you need to text @bdbsci to 81010.

For 7th grade, you need to text @bdbryan to 81010.

Then follow the prompts and you are connected.

How to keep up to date with Science Class

I use Google Calendar to keep you up to date with what is happening and going to happen in my classes.  You can simply follow the directions below for your class and see what is planned for any class.

7th Grade Calendar Access
